Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services Beaumont in Texas is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. You will determine donor eligibility, obtain informed consent, and manage donor safety under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician. This role requires state-licensure as LPN/LVN, CPR/AED certification, and prior clinical experience. Qualifications

• Must be licensed or certified in the state of responsibility: LPN or LVN.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• State requirements for basic IV therapy.
• FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent and medical history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory test results and communicate unsuitable results.
• Support vaccination programs and occupational health issues.
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs for medical guidance.
