Job summary

The Terminix International Company Limited Partnership is seeking a Plant Care Specialist in Brecksville, OH. You will apply plant care techniques, keep displays clean, and maintain health by preventing pests and diseases.

Responsibilities include assisting with installations, holiday decorations, and environmental conditioning with scenting and air purification equipment. Strong communication and physical readiness are required for daily field work.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for plants preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain appropriate amounts of water per lighting and plant requirements.
• Keep plants and display containers clean and free of dust and debris.
• Keep plants free from diseases and insects.
• Maintain appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements.
• Recognize and communicate additional Ambius product needs to grow the business.
• Assist on a variety of plantscape installations including interior or exterior containers and more.
• Assist on holiday decoration installations and removal after season.
• Maintain scenting and air purification equipment as necessary.
• Demonstrate solid communication and problem solving skills.
• Regularly drive a service van/truck in urban and rural settings.
• Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders.
• Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
