Job summary

Rentokil Plant Care is seeking a Plant Care Specialist to visit customer sites daily and care for plants, performing grooming, watering, pruning, and fertilizing as needed. You will prevent damage to surroundings while maintaining plant health and aesthetics.

Responsibilities include installations, holiday decorations, scenting, and air purification equipment maintenance. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for plants preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills - follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply water per lighting conditions and plant requirements.
• Keep plants and containers clean and free of dust.
• Keep plants free from diseases and insects.
• Maintain appearance of top dressing and ornamental elements.
• Identify additional Ambius product needs to grow the business.
• Assist on plantscape installations (interior/exterior).
• Assist on holiday decoration installations and removal.
• Maintain scenting and air purification equipment.
• Communicate clearly and solve problems effectively.
• Drive service van/truck in urban/rural areas.
• Safely climb ladders and work from ladders.
• Use pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
