Job summary

Slate is seeking a hands-on Plant Vehicle Engineer, General Assembly in Warsaw, Indiana to support launch readiness and production quality across GA content, coordinating with Design & Release Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Production and Service teams.

The role focuses on protecting product intent, resolving production and integration issues, and driving build quality in production, with significant plant-floor time and relocation to Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in automotive launch or plant vehicle engineering.
• Experience with General Assembly build execution and vehicle integration.

Responsibilities

• Support launch readiness and plant readiness for GA content.
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting fit, seal, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
