Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a hands-on Utility Person to support plant operations across production, maintenance, and equipment handling. You’ll perform lubrication tasks, assist with inspections, and help keep the plant clean and safe while operating Bobcat, Kubota, RTV, and other machinery.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliability, with opportunities for OT, training, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• 1 year equipment/plant/maintenance experience preferred.
• Must read gauges/dials and make competent decisions.
• Good oral and written communication; safety-focused; team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping.
• Plant cleaning and lubrication.
• Preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Cross-train across plant areas and operate plant-specific equipment.
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain logs.
• Follow safety rules and company policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping and assist teammates.
