Job summary

Pace Industries, LLC is seeking a Finish Operator to perform all operations required to support customer needs in our die casting manufacturing environment.

The role includes operating and adjusting equipment, ensuring quality with gauges, and completing required paperwork while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Willingness to learn new operations and to fill in across classes as demand dictates is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform secondary operations as needed and assigned.
• Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.
• Perform and assist in the set up and adjustments of equipment as experience is gained.
• Change and replace tools when necessary as experience is gained.
• Use of gauges to assure the quality of the castings.
• Stand and operate machine or equipment continuously—a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Participate in training programs deemed necessary by the company.
• Required to complete paperwork associated with the job. (time card, machine card, production records, charts, etc.)
• Must follow all safety rules and work in a safe manner, so not to endanger self or co-workers.
• Report unsafe conditions.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Capable and willing to work overtime.
