Job summary

Orion Castings in Loyalhanna Township, PA is seeking a Finish Operator to perform all required finish operations and support customer needs in a die casting production environment. The role offers opportunities to learn new operations and progressively take on more responsibility as experience grows.

You will stand for long periods, operate equipment, perform quality checks with gauges, complete time cards and production records, follow safety rules, wear PPE, keep area clean, and be willing to

• Perform secondary operations as needed and assigned.
• Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be needed or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.
• Perform and assist in the set up and adjustments of equipment as experience is gained.
• Change and replace tools when necessary as experience is gained.
• Use of gauges to assure the quality of the castings.
• Stand and operate machine or equipment continuously-a minimum of 8 hours per day.
• Participate in training programs deemed necessary by the company.
• Required to complete paperwork associated with the job. (time card, machine card, production records, charts, etc.)
• Must follow all safety rules and work in a safe manner, so not to endanger self or co-workers. Report unsafe conditions.
• Wear required personal protective equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Capable and willing to work overtime.
