Pace Industries, LLC in New Hampshire is seeking a Tooling Technician to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and optimize dies, trim dies, fixtures, and related tooling used in high pressure aluminum die casting operations.

The Tooling Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and optimization of dies, trim tools, fixtures, and related tooling used in high pressure aluminum die casting operations. This position supports production by ensuring tooling performs safely, efficiently, and within quality standards while minimizing downtime.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
Experience in high pressure aluminum die casting tooling maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of die cast tooling, trim tooling, and related manufacturing processes.
Ability to read blueprints, tooling drawings, and precision measuring instruments.
Experience with welding, CNC/manual machining, grinding, polishing, and fitting techniques preferred.
Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems associated with die cast tooling.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Experience with hot work tool steels and aluminum die cast processes.
Familiarity with TPM and preventative maintenance systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
Forklift and crane operation experience preferred.
