Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef LLC is seeking a Plant Utilities Superintendent to coordinate and supervise the refrigeration, boiler and waste water teams. You will lead up to refrigeration supervisors and sixteen technicians, driving safety, 5S, and continuous improvement across plant utilities.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in a food manufacturing setting, with an engineering background and relevant certifications; bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Beef plant experience preferred with bilingual Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's degree required; engineering background preferred.
• RETA and CIRO/CA RO certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the work of Power/Refrigeration/Instrumentation supervisors and technicians.
• Support CAPEX projects and participate in leadership decisions.
• Maintain equipment to meet standards and minimize downtime.
• Enforce 5S, safety, GMP and housekeeping practices.
• Manage health and safety policies, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee training, performance appraisals and payroll accuracy.
• Oversee ammonia compressors, condensers, boilers and other utilities.
• Lead continuous improvement of maintenance policies and reporting.
