Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.

• RETA and CIRO/CARO certifications required.

• 3-5 years of experience in pressure boilers, NH3 refrigeration and instrumentation.

• Trained in emergency response activities, first aid, CPR, confined space, and lockout/tagout.

• Knowledge of Process Safety Management and PNIDs.
• 0
• Ability to work with a diverse group and communicate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct the work of Power/Refrigeration/Instrumentation teams.
• 0
• Support CAPEX projects and participate in leadership decisions.
• 0
• Maintain production equipment to company standards and minimize downtime.
• 0
• Establish and maintain 5S in the utilities areas.
• 0
• Develop preventive maintenance programs with PSM compliance.
• 0
• Inspect work for conformance to specs and standards.
• 0
• Enforce safety, GMP and housekeeping practices.
• 0
• Coach and develop employees and make employment decisions.
• 0
• Oversee training and discipline as needed.
• 0
• Ensure health and safety policies and regulations are enforced; conduct investigations.
• 0
• Verify labor hours and payroll accuracy.
• 0
• Oversee ammonia compressors/condensers/receivers and boilers maintenance.
• 0
• Lead continuous improvement of maintenance policies and reporting systems.

• Perform HAZMAT assignments and assist with Emergency Response.
