Job summary

PURIS is seeking a Boiler Operator to ensure safe operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of plant utilities at the Dawson Manufacturing Facility. You will manage high-pressure steam boilers, ammonia systems, and related infrastructure while supporting a Safety-First culture and regulatory compliance.

In this role you will contribute to a brand-new facility, work with state-of-the-art engineering, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and safety across

Qualifications

• Requires First-Class Engineer's License, Grade B (minimum).
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic background is essential.
• Solid understanding of commercial plumbing, HVAC, and fire systems.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation and maintenance of plant utilities per regs.
• Lead continuous improvement of plant utilities and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Document preventative actions and communicate findings to teams.
• Develop and update preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Coordinate repairs to building systems and equipment and log info.
• Apply IOM manuals, schematics, and shop drawings as needed.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and EHS for safety.
• Follow plant food safety policies and respond to emergencies after hours.
