Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Training Manager to develop employee capabilities by coordinating plant-wide training standards and mentoring programs. You will administer the Skills Management system, ensure data accuracy, and align training with CANPACK Core Values—Respect, Safety, Teamwork, Integrity, Quality, and Innovation.

You will recruit, onboard, and develop mentors, organize on-the-job and classroom training, supervise skills assessments, and report training progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in HR or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating training in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of skills assessment methods and skills matrices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver training activities across departments, including on-the-job and classroom training.
• Act as local administrator and key user of the Skills Management IT system; ensure data accuracy and usage across plant functions.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop local mentors; verify mentoring activities and monitor training delivery quality.
• Organize and supervise employee skills assessments and validate proficiency levels.
• Monitor training plan execution, prepare reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Promote training initiatives and coordinate induction programs for new hires.
• Collaborate with Group / Corporate Training Team to implement global training solutions.
