Lamb Weston in American Falls, Idaho is seeking a Plant Technician to help keep production lines running and maintain high product quality. You’ll operate and maintain automated equipment, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on ownership, and opportunities for growth with comprehensive benefits. This is a full-time, on-site position with rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active work.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and on platforms, ladders, and stairs.
• Willing to work rotating day/night 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Can read, write, and understand English for safety.
• Willing to wear and properly use PPE (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes)

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment across multiple stages—receiving, processing, and packaging.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Keep accurate records of production and equipment data.
• Assist with line sanitation and product quality checks.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, clamp trucks, hand trucks, etc.).
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement and efficiency efforts throughout the plant.
