This position provides technical and engineering support for the development, design, and implementation of repairs and projects, focusing on predicting and preventing equipment failures.

Responsibilities

1. Develop project design specifications from basic ideas with limited guidance.
2. Conduct project reviews and presentations with key personnel.
3. Review project details and equipment to ensure maintenance needs are met.
4. Prepare project estimates, cost justifications, and approval documentation.
5. Develop project schedules and monitor progress for schedule and budget adherence.
6. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering services.
7. Specify and procure parts, verifying compatibility and compliance.
8. Document all project phases for compliance and quality assurance.
9. Participate in Management of Change (MOC) procedures and safety reviews.
10. Follow up on project completion, including documentation, maintenance, and lessons learned.
11. Assist in developing engineering standards and project proposals.
12. Improve engineering techniques, policies, and procedures continually.
13. Participate in miscellaneous engineering tasks as needed.

Skills and Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
2. 2-3 years of experience in petrochemical or manufacturing environments.
3. Self-motivated with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Proficiency in technical applications and Microsoft Office.
5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
