Job summary

Cleveland Steel Container in Niles, OH is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and customer-oriented individual for our manufacturing facility. Shift: Monday-Friday 5:45AM-2PM. Able to stand for extended periods and lift over 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Warehousing experience preferred in a high-volume setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move stock throughout the plant to support production.
• Install covers, bottoms, or shells onto steel pails.
• Assist in setting up the pail line as needed.
• Orient ear placement on pail shells during production.
• Construct cardboard trays/boxes for packaging.
• Label and count materials accurately.

Shift:

Monday- Friday 5:45AM-2PM

This position requires someone to be able to stand for extended periods of time and routinely package product for shipment for customers. This would include taking finished products off the production line and stacking products for shipment. This position would require lifting and handling of materials in excess of fifty pounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move required stock throughout the plant as needed to maintain production.
• Install covers- Bottoms, tops, or shells onto steel pails
• Participates in setting up the pail line as required
• Orient ear placement on pail shells while on production line
• Construct all cardboard trays or boxes for pail and/or cover packaging
• Responsible for correct labeling and accurate counts of material.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to work well as a team
• General Warehousing experience preferred
• Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment

Currently, we have four pail plants located strategically throughout the United States to support our customers. At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails.
