Job summary

Omya Group is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the Sylacauga facility to direct daily plant operations and lead safety, quality, and efficiency initiatives. You will manage furnace operations, packaging, material handling, and maintenance coordination to meet schedule commitments and cost targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience.
Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate daily plant operations to achieve production, quality, efficiency, and cost objectives.
Monitor furnace operations, expansion processes, packaging systems, and material handling equipment.
Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Lead Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
