Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Trinidad, Texas is seeking a senior supervisor to lead a Craft team responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a natural gas fired steam unit, with emphasis on boiler and machinery and process safety. You will direct a multi-skilled crew, manage day-to-day plant activities, plan maintenance, and coordinate with contractors.

The position requires on-call coverage 7 days a week and may involve temporary assignments to other areas of

Qualifications

• Six years of power plant or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of power plant systems.
• Knowledge of operations and/or asset management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and direction to a power plant multi-skilled crew including mechanical, electrical, instrument and control, laboratory, environmental and/or production personnel.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operation and/or maintenance of the generating units, while maintaining a safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
• Other responsibilities may include long and short term planning, conditioned based maintenance, project management and contractor interface.
• Will be assigned to work a normal day shift schedule, but will be on call and expected to cover the plant on a 7 day, 24 hour basis.
• This position is also subject to working temporary assignment in other areas of Luminant Power during periods of low plant utilization.
