Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent to oversee all plant operations at our paper mill. You will lead daily processes, supervise staff, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective production.

The role emphasizes technical expertise in mill machinery, press and calendar rolls, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in supervisory manufacturing roles, a relevant degree, strong leadership, and financial acumen to manage budgets and resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in paper.

Job Details

Responsibilities

1. 1. Overseeing the daily operations of the plant, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
2. 2. Supervising and managing plant personnel, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
3. 3. Ensuring the plant adheres to all safety and environmental regulations, implementing policies and procedures as necessary.
4. 4. Coordinating with other departments to optimize production and improve overall plant performance.
5. 5. Managing the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, including machinery, press rolls, calendar rolls, and paper mill equipment.

Qualifications
