Job summary

HappyGlobal Service is seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the establishment and ongoing operations of a new manufacturing facility in the United States. You will drive new facility setup, plant infrastructure development, operational readiness, and day-to-day factory operations after launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, plant operations, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience managing a factory, manufacturing facility, warehouse, or large-scale operational site.
• Experience with new facility setup, plant construction, equipment installation, or operational ramp-up is highly preferred.
• U.S. factory management experience is preferred but not required.
• Chinese language skills are a plus and helpful for cross-border coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support new facility setup and launch planning.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and internal teams on facility construction and infrastructure.
• Develop operational plans, SOPs, and processes for production readiness.
• Support equipment installation, testing, and ramp-up.
• Manage day-to-day operations ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Monitor KPIs, cost, quality, and inventory; drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Production, Warehouse, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
