Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Plant Operations staff member in Norfolk to help keep facilities and grounds in excellent condition. You will operate lawn and maintenance equipment and support the operations director to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth daily upkeep of the campus.

The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, safety, and timely completion of tasks to support resident care and a well-maintained environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• Ability to operate various pieces of equipment to include lawn mowing and maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds and equipment in good working order.
• Assist Plant Operations Director to ensure compliance with policies and state and federal regulations.

Our Plant Operations Staff assists the Plant Operations Director by making a difference in the lives of our stakeholders and residents by ensuring our facilities, equipment, and utilities are in good working order and that property grounds are maintained in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
