Job summary

The Simplot Company is recruiting for a sanitation associate at the GF Plant in Grand Forks, ND. You will maintain sanitary conditions for food surfaces and processing equipment, following safety procedures to protect yourself and teammates.

Responsibilities include handling chemicals, recording usage, regular cleaning, and supporting training to uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced food production setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Must be able to apply basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be able to work in confined spaces and wear appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Keeps food surfaces and processing equipment in sanitary condition.
• Follows safe work practices and procedures and company policies.
• Records chemical usage in the Chemical Log and transports chemicals safely.
• Performs cleaning duties regularly and maintains central foaming tank solutions.
• Supports training to ensure proper sanitation and safety.
