Job summary

ATALCO Gramercy is seeking a Shift Production Coordinator to ensure safe, efficient day-to-day operations at the Gramercy refinery. You will coordinate technical processes across units, collaborate with unit superintendents, and lead startup/shutdown activities while maintaining KPI targets.

Requires a BS in Engineering or technical field, 5+ years of refinery experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive safety, quality and production improvements.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of refinery experience are required.
• Strong mechanical ability to inspect and troubleshoot plant equipment.
• Demonstrated skills in leading an operating crew and unit troubleshooting.
• Good written and verbal communication with staff, contractors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination across plant units to ensure safe, efficient daily operation.
• Oversee startup, shutdown, and emergency activities in a safe manner.
• Monitor KPIs, manage production rates and deviations, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Safety, Environmental, Maintenance, and Operations for incident investigations.
• Communicate issues promptly and develop corrective action plans.
