Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and follow sanitation procedures, safety requirements, and food safety standards.
• Ability to safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals according to established procedures.
• Ability to wear required PPE and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to complete and maintain required certifications and training.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule to support sanitation requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform physical cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation of food processing equipment in accordance with SSOPs.
• Complete end-of-production and end-of-week cleaning assignments.
• Properly mix, dilute, and apply cleaning chemicals per instructions.
• Follow GMPs, safety requirements, and food safety standards at all times.
• Wear and maintain PPE.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and complete safety training.
• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Refill soap and paper towel dispensers and other supplies.
• Operate auto floor scrubbers and other sanitation equipment.
• Support facility hygiene initiatives and master sanitation schedules.
• Maintain compliance with fall protection and other safety programs.
• Report sanitation, safety, equipment, or facility concerns to leadership.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and other duties as directed.
• Support sanitation schedules that may require weekends or varying days off.
