Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking a diligent housekeeping associate for our Georgia facility. Responsibilities include cleaning production and non-production areas, handling waste and recycling, stocking supplies, and maintaining floors.

The role requires stamina, safety awareness, and the ability to work with chemicals and PPE. Candidates must be 18+, demonstrate GMP-aligned work habits, and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe working habits.
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with GMPs.
• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Emptying waste containers and removing palletized production waste.
• Cleaning outside areas such as parking lots and around dumpsters.
• Cleaning break rooms, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, locker rooms, windows, doors and hallways daily.
• Maintaining floors in non-production areas (stripping, waxing, buffing, mopping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming).
• Using cleaning chemicals and equipment that require PPE.
• Stocking supplies, taking inventory, and preparing weekly supply orders.
• Organizing housekeeping closets and assisting in recycling materials.
