Job summary

Koch Foods is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Ohio to manage daily safety department tasks, maintain DOT files, safety logs, and training records, and coordinate training as needed.

You will assist with safety training for new hires, keep SDS books and chemical lists updated, and support incident investigations and inspections while providing leadership on safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technically proficient with technology and usage of computers and software.
• Some college or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily tasks of the safety department.
• Maintain DOT files, safety logs and training files.
• Schedule and provide training as needed.
• Assist with safety training for new hires.
• Maintain and update all SDS books and chemical lists.
• Assist in incident investigations and inspections.
• Provide leadership and direction regarding safety policies and procedures.
• All other relevant duties to the job.
