Job summary

Landmark Snacks Group is seeking a Safety and Training Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee training across the Beatrice plant. You will collaborate with leadership and HR to foster a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement while coaching on the floor.

The role focuses on safety, food safety, onboarding, and ongoing training. Significant time on the manufacturing floor is expected to coach team members and conduct audits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a safety and training role, preferably in food manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, USDA, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts and departments.
• Proficiency in training software, LMS platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs for all departments and shifts.
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation.
• Lead root cause analysis for safety incidents and track corrective actions.
• Facilitate plant safety committee meetings with hourly employee representation.
• Develop OSHA-compliant safety training and regular refreshers.
• Provide onboarding for new hires and partner with HR on programs.
• Track training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
