Job summary

Dietz and Watson is seeking a Safety Coordinator to maintain compliance with safety and environmental programs, lead training, and coordinate audits. The role requires 1–3 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, training delivery, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping and reporting. Strong communication with management and HR is essential, with occasional Spanish language skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of safety work experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a company with 500+ employees preferred.
• Spanish or another language proficiency preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (General industry) a must.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental programs and update plans annually or as needed.
• Coordinate safety committee activities, audits, and document findings with work orders.
• Ensure safety inspections, recordkeeping and reporting are completed accurately and on time.
• Lead safety and health training including new hire orientation and annual training.
• Conduct incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain current training records and environmental reports.
