Job summary

Keystone Cement Company, a Titan America business, seeks a Safety Engineer to safeguard employees at the plant. You will collaborate across teams to identify hazards, implement safety protocols and drive proactive safety measures.

Based at the plant, you will lead training, inspections and incident investigations while aligning with MSHA regulations and industry standards. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety preferred or related experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal skills.
• Experience with safety management software is a plus.
• Professional certification in safety (CSP/CIH) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-conscious culture and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and guidelines.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment and work areas.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes.
• Assist with emergency response planning and drills.
• Maintain safety records and submit reports to management and agencies.
• Collaborate with safety committee on initiatives and engagement.
• Stay updated on industry safety trends and regulations.
