Job summary

Keystone Cement Company, a Titan America business, seeks a Safety Engineer to safeguard employees at the Lehigh Valley plant. You will develop safety protocols, lead inspections, and ensure MSHA compliance while promoting a culture of safety.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing, strong communication and leadership skills, and willingness to travel occasionally. Based at the plant, you will work with cross-functional teams and report to the Safety Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in industrial manufacturing safety role.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; safety software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety Culture: Promote a safety-conscious culture and encourage reporting of concerns.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure MSHA compliance and coordinate with authorities for inspections.
• Safety Training: Develop and deliver training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and work areas.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate incidents and determine root causes.
• Emergency Response: Help develop and implement emergency plans.
• Safety Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records and prepare safety reports.
• Safety Committee: Collaborate with committee to drive safety initiatives.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
