Job summary

Leprino Foods is seeking a Safety Technician to support the Plant Safety team in driving safety and health processes across the facility. This role focuses on training, inspections, incident analysis, and regulatory compliance to reduce risk and injuries on the manufacturing floor.

The Safety Technician will assist with training programs, record-keeping, mandated audits, and the organization of safety communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing with established safety processes.
• Associate degree in safety management or similar program.
• OSHA 501 or Hazardous Materials certification is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective written and small group communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting safety training and record-keeping.
• Support safety inspections and incident analysis on the floor.
• Help maintain safety signage and compliance with regulations.
• Engage with employees to promote safety programs and campaigns.
• Assist in audits and corrective actions for safety improvements.
