Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
• Electrical license or electrical/instrumentation certification preferred.
• Two years maintenance electrician experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical/instrumentation troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• SAP experience preferred; familiarity with maintenance software is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Participate with maintenance/instrumentation team to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Champion Precision Maintenance practices and ensure job tolerances are met.
• Support training for maintenance personnel in electrical/instrumentation.
• Maintain spares and parts following reliability procedures.
• Assist in commissioning of rebuilt or new electrical/instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical/instrumentation and assist in troubleshooting tasks.
• Use CMMS to document reliability reporting and decision making.
• Keep accurate records and provide input for RCA and reliability improvements.
• Promote Michael Foods culture and safe work behaviors.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation, and food safety standards.
