The role focuses on reliability, coaching, and strategic maintenance planning to align with the plant vision and drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates bring engineering rigor and experience in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Maintenance/Reliability department.
• Experience partnering with Production leadership to improve equipment reliability.
• Experience with identification and development of leading indicators for reliability of critical assets.
• Experience maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial level electrical/ PLCs, motor control centers, utility systems, transformers, switchgears, process instrumentation.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strategically manage the Maintenance department and all maintenance-related activities aligned with the plant vision.
• Provide coaching and feedback to help employees recognize strengths and weaknesses to succeed in the organization.
• Develop solutions and make recommendations for maintenance and operations using analytical tools such as RCM, FMEA, and RCA.
• Create an environment that challenges employees to acquire new knowledge and continuously improve.
• Implement reliability centered maintenance to ensure equipment readiness.
• Utilize maintenance data systems that support work orders, preventive maintenance, and reliability improvements.
• Organize, coordinate, and lead the maintenance team to meet plant objectives.
• Diagnose equipment problems, determine repair/replacement needs, tear down, repair/replace parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Lead cost control and continuous improvement in the department including spare inventory.
