Job summary
Guardian Industries in DeWitt, Iowa seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a team responsible for maintaining glass melting furnace equipment, batching equipment, and utility systems.
You will drive reliability, coach staff, implement RCMs and RCA methods, and partner with production to improve plant equipment performance in a 24/7 operation, with focus on cost control and spare parts management.
Qualifications
- Experience leading a Maintenance/Reliability department.
- Partnered with Production leadership to improve plant equipment reliability.
- Experience developing leading indicators for reliability of critical assets.
- Experience maintaining hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial level electrical/PLC systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Maintenance department in alignment with the plant vision.
- Coach employees to help them succeed in the organization.
- Develop solutions using analytical tools such as RCM, FMEA, and RCA.
- Generate an environment that challenges employees to acquire new knowledge for continuous improvement.
- Implement reliability centered maintenance practices to keep equipment ready.
- Utilize maintenance data systems that support work orders and preventive maintenance.
