Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 1–4 years heavy equipment experience expected.
• Knowledge of safety rules governing the role.
• Demonstrates exemplary skills in the field.
• Clear written English communication and PC use.
• Ability to lead, motivate and coach others.
• Capable of independent decision‑making and prioritizing conflicting demands.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety policies (MSHA/OSHA).
• Operate and coordinate use of mobile equipment and plant duties.
• Maintain effective communication across operation areas.
• Inspect plant equipment for mechanical issues.
• Schedule preventative maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Complete daily production, safety, and maintenance logs.
• Assist management with mining and profit plans and monthly forecasts.
• Direct, motivate and coach team activities.
• Work well in a team environment.
