Job summary

CM Truck Beds Kingston plant is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the QC Inspectors and own the plant's quality program end-to-end. This leadership role drives RCCA, MRB processes and implements inspection standards across plant operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing quality, ability to read drawings and welding specs, and experience building quality systems, dashboards, and training programs for staff. This role reports to the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience, including leadership.
• Strong RCCA, MRB, and problem-solving knowledge.
• Experience building or improving a quality program.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, welding specs, and paint/coating specs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to build KPI dashboards.
• Strong communication skills for presenting to plant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive RCCA and coordinate MRB process for continuous improvement.
• Lead QC Inspectors and provide technical guidance on quality issues.
• Own reduction of top warranty drivers with measurable targets.
• Support structured problem-solving and cross-functional Kaizen events.
• Design and implement in-process and final inspection standards.
• Own quality KPI reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
• Partner with Engineering, Production, and Purchasing on root causes.
• Develop and audit Standard Work; drive 5S in work areas.
• Establish and lead operator training on quality standards.
• Serve as primary contact for audits including ISO 9001 compliance.
• Build the foundation for a formal QMS as plant grows.
