Job summary

Avient Corporation in Berea, OH is seeking an on-site Plant Quality Manager to oversee the overall quality system and product testing, and supervise Quality Technicians.

You will ensure processes are controlled, changes follow the MSA/CSA sequence, manage testing per our policy, and lead investigations and corrective actions while training staff and coordinating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in Manufacturing/ Leadership.
• 5+ years experience with Problem Solving Techniques.
• Quality System Management with ISO experience, GMP/FDA preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the manufacturing-related processes to ensure all product meets end-use customer requirements.
• Monitors and controls process conditions for product consistency according to specifications.
• Ensures changes to products/processes follow the MSA/CSA sequence.
• Oversees testing per Avient Lab Performance Policy and ensures timely and accurate product grading.
• Represents the plant in dealings with customers, technology community, and commercial groups; resolves customer complaints and handles technical/quality questions.
