Job summary

Avient Corporation is seeking a on-site Quality Leader to manage the plant quality system and oversee product testing. The role includes supervising Quality Engineers and Lab staff, and ensuring ISO-compliant processes and documentation.

You will drive audits, investigate root causes of defects, and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing/Leadership.
• 5+ years in Problem Solving Techniques.
• 5+ years Quality System Management with ISO experience.

Responsibilities

• ISO Management Representative: Establishes, implements and maintains the quality system requirements as described in the Quality Manual.
• Oversees the IQS documentation system and ensures it is current.
• Monitors and controls manufacturing-related process controls to meet end-user requirements.
• Coordinates investigations and corrective actions on plant-related customer complaints.
• Provides training to lab/production employees as needed.
• Represents Avient with customers and the technology community to resolve quality questions.
