Prizer-Painter Stove Works, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s quality program.

This role ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements while leading quality initiatives across the organization. You will oversee supplier quality, manufacturing quality, customer quality, corrective actions, auditing activities, and quality performance reporting to ensure products consistently meet customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field related to quality management or engineering.
• 8+ years of progressive quality experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop departmental strategy and vision to ensure adherence to customer expectations and business objectives.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and evaluate quality personnel while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Direct incoming, in-process, final, and outbound inspection activities and ensure consistent application of quality standards.
• Establish, maintain, and improve quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, and Pareto tools.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics including customer complaints, warranty trends, scrap, and supplier defects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve reliability, and lower cost of quality.
• Manage supplier quality activities including supplier performance reviews and supplier audits.
• Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
• Coordinate and lead internal audit programs and maintain a pool of qualified auditors.
• Provide quality guidance to Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other functions.
