Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Continuous Improvement leader at the plant to drive quality initiatives and safety. You will lead, plan, and coach teams to ensure safe production of high‑quality products that meet customer needs in a cost‑effective manner.

You will implement Six Sigma, Lean, 5S and other CI tools, mentor staff, and collaborate with manufacturing, sales, design, and vendors to optimize performance across the plant and related facilities.

Qualifications

• College degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas (production, logistics).
• Competent with MS Office and Statistical software.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Quality Management System at the plant.
• Train and educate the organization and implement continuous improvement methodologies such as 6 Sigma, 5S, Lean, OE and others.
• Drives Continuous Improvement to quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality and service.
• Tracks vendor performance and resolves customer complaints; investigates defects and analyzes quality data.
• Handles customer feedback promptly and initiates corrective actions using root cause analysis.
• Supports safety as a top priority in training, job design and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures right‑first‑time quality across the plant and drives CI teams.
• Leads inter‑plant CI initiatives to develop synergies and opportunities.
