Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years' experience in development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
• IATF experience or lead auditor certification preferred.
• Ability to support operations during non-business hours.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages plant quality department and ensures QMS compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement via KPI system, waste reduction, and change control.
• Ensure customer requirements are met and serve as point of contact for visits and inquiries.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain on-time responses and manage internal containment to protect customers.
• Monitor, score, and improve preventive and corrective action systems and scorecards.
• Maintain IATF 16949 certification and support ISO 14001 as applicable.
• Lead PPAP submissions and manage nonconforming material program.
• Conduct product and process audits including layered process and incoming inspection audits.
