Job summary

Ventek Solutions in Mt. Pleasant, TN, is seeking a Plant Quality Manager to lead the plant quality department and ensure adherence to the quality management system and customer requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage audits (IATF 16949, ISO 14001), and coordinate PPAP submissions across cross-functional teams. Travel up to 10% may be required. BS in a technical field and US work authorization required; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in development/maintenance of a quality system.
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
• Travel approximately 10% as needed.
• IATF 16949 experience and/or lead auditor preferred.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the plant quality department, coaching and supporting the team to maintain QMS and standard work.
• Drive continuous improvement via KPI systems, waste reduction, variation control, and change management.
• Ensure customer requirements are met; act as the main contact for visits, issues and inquiries.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for product failures.
• Manage internal containment to protect customers and ensure on-time responses.
• Monitor and improve preventive/corrective actions; track internal and external scorecards.
• Maintain IATF 16949 certification and support ISO 14001.
• Oversee program management including PPAP submissions; manage nonconforming material program.
• Conduct product and process audits; participate in internal QMS audits.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant\'s quality management system (QMS) within the plant and driving the overall continuous improvement system.

This role will be based onsite in our Mt. Pleasant, TN plant and will have occasional business travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the plant quality department, providing coaching, development, training and support as needed to establish and maintain plant quality management system and standard work compliance
• Lead, maintain, and drive continuous improvement through plant continuous improvement / KPI system, variation / waste reduction and change control system
• Ensure all customer requirements are met and serve as point of contact for customer visits, issues, and inquiries.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for internal and external product failures.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years’ experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certified is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on building positive working relationships within the company.
• Ability to travel as needed (approximately 10%)
• IATF Experience or lead auditor certification preferred.
• Ability to support the operations during non-business hours.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without need for sponsorship.
