Job summary

Ormat Technologies, Inc. is seeking a staff engineer to support MM&CAPEX projects, scoping, financial justification, plant efficiency and performance monitoring.

The role includes leading projects, evaluating equipment and processes, and coordinating upgrades across multiple plant sites. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 5 years in power plant maintenance, and a PE or eligibility within 12 months.

Qualifications

• 5 years of power plant maintenance or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with diverse team.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop process improvement projects to maximize generation and profits.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, financial justification and implementation.
• Evaluate causes of equipment, procedural, and conditional inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Plan and coordinate equipment upgrades, modifications and repairs.
• Assist with contractor bid evaluations and project planning.
