Job summary

Arclin USA LLC seeks a Plant Project Engineer for our Moncure, NC facility. You will oversee capital projects, coordinate with operations, maintenance, EHS, and contractors, and ensure safety and reliability throughout project lifecycles.

The role requires on-site work, strong project management, and experience with P&IDs and AutoCAD. Travel may be required to support multiple projects in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10+ years in plant engineering, project engineering, maintenance engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with capital projects in manufacturing or chemical processing environments.
• On-site contractor/vendor collaboration experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of P&IDs, process drawings, equipment drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept through design, procurement, installation, and closeout.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, specifications, and execution plans.
• Prepare engineering analyses including cost and life-cycle analyses.
• Prepare Capital Investment Requests and bid evaluations.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations, Maintenance, EHS, and contractors.
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality, and reliability objectives are met.
• Monitor multiple projects to meet schedules and budgets.
• Provide field support for startup, commissioning, and turnover.
• Travel may be required for vendor visits or site support.
