Job summary

Arclin USA LLC in Moncure, NC is seeking a Plant Engineer III to lead the design, operation and maintenance of plant facilities and equipment, reporting to the Plant Manager. You will own all plant assets, manage capital and maintenance budgets, and drive safety, reliability and efficiency improvements.

BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 10+ years in maintenance/engineering are required, with TPM/PSM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years plant maintenance/engineering/project engineering experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork, adaptability, innovation and initiative.
• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility.
• Ability to increase responsibilities after a period of time.

Responsibilities

• Owner and accountable for all plant assets; controls, tracks and reports capital and maintenance budgets.
• Management representative for the PSM (Process Safety Management) program and responsible for implementation and maintenance.
• Communicates with customers to ensure plans and progress meet outcomes.
• Confers with vendors on specs and purchases; evaluates products against standards.
• Analyzes maintenance workforce utilization, predictive/preventative maintenance, space, workflow, and layout for efficiency.
• Provides technical advice and prepares engineering analyses including design, cost and life-cycle cost analyses.
