Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily plant operations in a Michigan manufacturing environment. You will direct Production Supervisors and manage labor, equipment, materials, and resources to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

You will develop production plans, analyze schedules, forecast labor requirements, monitor budgets, and ensure staffing levels support goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree combined with 5+ years of production supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership overseeing production operations, driving team performance and achieving goals, with continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations by directing Production Supervisors and managing labor, equipment, materials, and resources to maximize productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Develop production plans, analyze schedules, forecast labor requirements, monitor budgets, and ensure staffing levels support goals and deadlines
• Utilize Redzone to monitor real-time performance, OEE, downtime, and production metrics, while driving accountability through daily performance reviews, data tracking, and corrective actions
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives using root cause analysis, data-driven decision-making, SOPs, GMPs, 5S/6S methodologies, and cross-functional problem-solving teams
• Build, coach, and hold Production Supervisors and Associates accountable for performance, safety, quality, operational excellence, and company core values
• Support food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, contingency planning, and operational leadership, including serving as backup to the Operations Manager when needed
