Accelera is seeking a Plant Production Superintendent to lead manufacturing excellence across the facility. You will oversee all operational workflows, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high-quality output with accountability and craftsmanship.

You will manage production planning, mentor supervisors, and lead safety and quality initiatives while coordinating with cross-functional teams across shifts in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading food manufacturing operations.

• Deep knowledge of GMP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex scheduling and capacity planning to meet throughput targets.
• Lead and mentor production supervisors across shifts.
• Monitor plant KPIs and dashboards to identify bottlenecks and actions.
• Improve changeover processes and SOPs to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement in labor, waste, and OEE.
• Serve as escalation point for operational challenges and cross-department alignment.

• Direct all facility-wide production activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, GMP standards, and operational efficiency.
• Manage complex production scheduling and capacity planning, adjusting workflows in real-time to meet throughput targets and material availability.
• Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent leadership across all shifts.
• Oversee plant-level KPIs and performance dashboards, utilizing data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Streamline changeover processes and standard operating procedures to minimize downtime and maximize line efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on labor optimization, waste reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational challenges, ensuring rapid resolution and cross-departmental alignment.
• Cultivate an inclusive and high-performance culture that prioritizes safety, quality, and operational discipline.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in food manufacturing leadership and production management.
• Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and operational KPI management.
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations.
