Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search seeks a Quality/Manufacturing Engineer to drive product quality, cost reductions, and supplier coordination. You will oversee CAPA, perform root-cause analysis, and implement design/process improvements across manufacturing sites and field operations.

The role requires a BSME or BSEE with 3+ years in manufacturing/quality engineering, or 7+ years in the industry. International travel around 10–15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in Manufacturing/Quality; or 7+ years in industry without degree.
• Experience with complex electronic assembly, testing, and high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Ability to quickly analyze problems, form hypotheses, and implement effective solutions.
• Experience coordinating outsourced manufacturing operations and travel (10–15%).

Job description

• Drive product quality, performance, and cost-reduction initiatives by partnering with international suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Ensure supplier compliance with product specifications and manage vendor relationships, including oversight of remote resources supporting supplier operations.
• Monitor and improve product quality across manufacturing sites and field operations, implementing design, process, and product enhancements as needed.
• Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs, conduct root cause investigations, analyze data, and provide detailed reports to support continuous improvement
• Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical failure analysis on production and field returns (including DOA units) to identify and resolve quality issues
• Develop and implement quality systems, manufacturing procedures, training programs, engineering change documentation (ECO/MCO), and deviation processes to improve production yields and reduce field failures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 3+ years of Manufacturing/Quality Engineering support experience; alternatively, 7+ years of relevant industry experience may substitute for a degree
• Strong background in complex electronic assembly, testing, and high-volume manufacturing environments
• Demonstrated ability to analyze problems quickly, develop hypotheses, and implement effective solutions, including in unfamiliar situations
• Experience overseeing and coordinating outsourced manufacturing operations
• Must hold a valid U.S. Passport and be available for international travel (approximately 10-15%) as business needs require
