Job summary

TreeHouse Foods in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Production Manager to lead a team of supervisors and operators, driving productivity, safety, and quality on the Lancaster plant floor. The role is full-time and on-site, first shift, with occasional shift flexibility.

You will oversee daily operations, coordinate workflows, and collaborate with quality and engineering to prevent defects and downtime, while advancing CI and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production or food manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with SAP and procurement software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to production supervisors and team members to meet targets.
• Coordinate production workflows and ensure equipment and materials availability.
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
• Support CI initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance and give constructive feedback.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with quality control and engineering teams.
• Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Ensure clean, organized, and compliant production area.
• Prepare and submit regular production performance reports.
• Contribute to site strategy as part of Plant Steering Team.
