Amcor Peosta Plant seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the Production Department, ensure compliance with GMP and ISO standards, and drive safe, efficient manufacturing operations. You will lead staff training, conduct appraisals, and coordinate cross‑functional efforts to meet production goals.

The role emphasizes safety, cost control, and collaboration with other departments to maintain high quality and regulatory compliance in a dynamic plant environment.

Qualifications

• Technical School Degree in Manufacturing field or related area preferred.
• Experience as Production Supervisor (3–5 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and staff the Production Department to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate and oversee on- and off-site training programs for staff.
• Conduct performance appraisals and maintain discipline per company policy.
• Ensure safe working conditions and proper production equipment and supplies.
• Analyze costs and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and implement production procedures in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintain records for evaluation and control of departmental activities.
• Promote safety and comply with GMP and ISO requirements.
