Job summary

Primient is seeking a Process Engineer to support the smooth operation of plant areas through troubleshooting, optimization, and project execution. This role focuses on maximizing output, improving energy efficiency, and reducing downtime across multiple unit operations.

You will take technical ownership, develop independent process improvements, and collaborate with engineers, operations, and equipment suppliers to drive reliable plant performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical, Bio Engineering or related field from ABET accredited institution.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.
• Certification in Root cause analysis (5 whys, fishbone, KT).
• 3+ years post-graduation work experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Previous capital project implementation experience.
• PID updates/creation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple unit operations for efficiency and safety.
• Manage process studies, system optimizations and capital projects.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and support startups/shutdowns.
• Perform root cause analysis to drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations, vendors and procurement.
• Monitor KPIs and propose data-driven process adjustments.
